When is oxygen therapy needed?

Is not news that some people need oxygen therapy to breathe better. When the oxygen in their blood is below normal levels. But, when is needed it? Usually, when people with some healthy problems have some symptoms, like:

The main ways of using oxygen therapy at home are: a short tube placed in the patient’s nasal cannula, or with a mask over the nose and mouth. Also, some patients need a tracheostomy, which is a tube inserted into an opening made in the front or their neck.
